Small, versatile knife with a slender blade and plain edge (technical term for cutting edge). The vegetable and paring knife is suitable for cutting onions and herbs, and is also very helpful for chopping, cleaning, and decorating fruits and vegetables. With its pointed blade, it is also used for larding.
