Böker Straight Razor (5/8) - Paua

The Böker Paua straight razor in the popular 5/8 inch size is a real eye-catcher, combining an extraordinary appearance with traditional craftsmanship. Paua are shellfish from the genus Haliotis, but unlike abalones, they are found only in the pristine coastal waters of New Zealand. For centuries, they have served the Maori as traditional body adornment and are still used today as decorations for figures, weapons, and meeting houses. The impressive handle scales are absolutely unique in both color and pattern. The blade with French point is ground extra hollow with ridge and, of course, also features the historical engraving once used for particularly exceptional Böker straight razors. Thanks to the double-sided serration, the perfectly balanced razor always offers a secure grip. With authentic Böker stamp on the tang, certificate of authenticity, and historical packaging.
