The Rex 121 from CPM in the USA represents the absolute maximum in wear resistance that can still be used for a knife. Due to its very high carbide content, it is significantly less prone to rust than conventional carbon steel.


The American CPM Rex 121 is an extremely high-alloy powder metallurgical carbon steel.
