Chemical composition

C: 0,8% | Cr: 7,5% | Mo: 1,3% | V: 2,8%

Our "Z-3 steel" heat treatment recommendation:
Hardening:

• Oxidation protection required
• Hardening temperature: 1050°C - 1120°C
• Quenching medium: air or gas
• Cryogenic treatment: optional, but beneficial
• 200°C or 530°C
• Achievable hardness: 58 - 61 HRC
