The Z-3 PM is a corrosion-resistant powder metallurgy cold work carbon steel with an ideal toughness-to-wear resistance ratio.

Chemical composition

• C: 0,8%
• Cr: 7,5%
• Mo: 1,3%
• V: 2,8%

Heat treatment: Hardening Z-3 PM:

• Hardening temperature: 1050°C - 1120°C (air)
• Tempering: 200°C or 530°C
• Achievable hardness: 58 - 61 HRC
