Product description

We use CPM S110V from Crucible Steel for blades that require very infrequent resharpening and offer exceptionally high corrosion resistance. The greatest challenge is workability, as the extremely high alloy content is reflected here like in no other blade steel.

The American CPM S110V is a niobium-vanadium alloyed powder metallurgy chromium steel.

Heat treatment: Hardening CPM S110V:

Hardening temperature: 1070°C (air)
Tempering: 3x 2 hours at 200°C
Hardness: ~61 HRC
High-temperature tempering: 2x 2 hours at 525°C
High-temperature tempered hardness: ~63 HRC
