Product description

We use CPM S110V from Crucible Steel for blades that rarely need resharpening and require exceptionally high corrosion resistance. The greatest challenge is its workability, as the extremely high alloy content is more evident here than in any other blade steel.

The American CPM S110V is a niobium-vanadium alloyed powder metallurgy chromium steel.

Hardening temperature: 1070°C - 1120°C (air)
Tempering: 200°C or 530°C
Achievable hardness: 59 - 63 HRC
