RWL 34 is a stainless martensitic powder metallurgy steel from Damasteel®.

Chemical composition

• C: 1,05%
• Si: 0,5%
• Mn: 0,5%
• Cr: 14%
• Mo: 4%
• V: 0,2%

RWL 34 hardening:

RWL 34 should be hardened using foil, protective gas, or vacuum.

• Hardening temperature: 1080°C (air/oil)
• Tempering: 2 hours at 180°C
• Hardness: ~62 HRC
• Annealing: 750°C - 900°C
