Damasteel DC21R™ Damacore™

The stainless Damacore DC21R™ from Damasteel is a damascus steel with a unique appearance. The core layer consists of RWL34. The outer layers are made of RWL34™ and PMC27™, both steels are martensitic stainless steels with a chromium content of at least 13%.

This damascus should have at least 0,8 mm at the edge before hardening.

Heat treatment / Hardening Damacore

• Hardening temperature: 1050°C - 1080°C (air/oil)
• Tempering: 2 hours at 200°C
• Hardness: ~62 HRC
