• Cr: 13,4%

Heat treatment / ZDI INOX hardening

• Hardening: 1070°C (air)
• Tempering: 2 hours at 180°C
• Hardness: ~60 HRC

Etching recommendation

• Mirror polish before etching
• Etch in 33% hydrochloric acid (acid should be approx. 60-70°C) for 3-5 minutes
• Lightly polish again with fine polishing paste (e.g., Dialux Blue)
