Product description

Z-420 PM offers good toughness combined with very high wear resistance. Thanks to its corrosion resistance, it is easy to maintain. This steel performs excellently at a sharpening angle of approx. 18-20° per side, provided the edge is not ground too thin (a minimum of ~0,4 mm is recommended).

The Z-420 PM is a stainless powder metallurgy chromium-vanadium alloyed stainless steel.

Heat treatment: Hardening Z-420 PM:

Hardening temperature: 1120°C (air)
Tempering: 2 x 2 hours at 200°C
Hardness: ~60 HRC
