VG10 CORE Damascus - Ladder

Stainless VG10 Core Damascus with VG10 core layer in the "Ladder" pattern.
This damascus should have at least 1,0 mm at the edge before hardening.

Heat treatment / hardening VG10 Core

• Hardening: 1070°C (air)
• Tempering: 2 hours at 200°C
• Annealing: 850°C

Recommendation for etching

Gloss finish: High-gloss polish, then in 33% hydrochloric acid for 3-10 minutes
Matte finish: Pre-sanded to approx. grit 800, then in 33% hydrochloric acid for 3-10 minutes
