Our intensive research and countless tests on blade steels of all hardness levels have shown that the unique mirror-like sharpness can be achieved on a wide range of knives. Whether classic German kitchen blade steel or high-quality damascus and carbon steel, with the HORL® Kagami you can take your knives to a completely new level of sharpness.

STEP BY STEP TO MIRROR SHARPNESS
First, ensure that the blade is burr-free and you have used the HORL® Premium Set. For mirror-sharp results, sharpen your knife for at least 5 minutes per side. Important when using the ultra-fine sharpening stone: repeatedly clean both the blade and the sharpening stone during use to allow a mirror edge to form and prevent abrasive particles from being embedded. For the final polish, slightly moisten the HORL® Kagami and sharpen for one minute per side.
