Product description

The BladePress is the stamping press from our embossing system for cold embossing of soft-annealed steel.

  • For professional embossing on self-made knives
  • Large and robust design for regular workshop use
  • Consistent depth thanks to ball-bearing press technology
  • Stable positioning before pressing for a clean result
  • Works on carbon steel, stainless steel, PM steels, and non-ferrous metals
  • Requires a wrench (SW 30) and a securely mounted vise
  • CNC Made in Germany

The press consists of the following parts:

  • Milled base body with die hole and fine thread hole for the special screw
  • Screw for fixing the die
  • Hardened support plate
  • Special screw with blind hole for the ball pressure
  • Hardened ball

Dimensions: approx. W: 60 mm, H: 110 mm, D: 80 mm

Instructions

  1. Clamp the die straight and moderately tighten with the fixing screw.
  2. Secure the stamping press firmly in the vise.
  3. Place the blade blank between the support plate and the die, and hand-tighten the screw.
  4. If necessary, slightly loosen the screw, position the blank precisely, and hand-tighten again.
  5. Hold the blank to prevent slipping, and continue tightening the screw in a controlled manner with the wrench.
  6. Then loosen the screw and remove the blank.

Ideally, perform a test embossing on scrap material beforehand. For thin sheet, about 2,5 mm and below, do not press the die too deep.

Only suitable for the ricasso or flat surfaces. Not suitable for angled surfaces.

The press is delivered without die, wrench, and vise.

Weight approx. 3,6 KG
